Shafie in close-door meeting with loyal party reps

Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal arrived at the State Administration Centre (PPNS) at 10.40am today to hold a close-door meeting with his loyal state elected representatives.
The Parti Warisan Sabah President is expected to hold a press conference afterwards.

There are talks about him going to dissolve the Sabah State Legislative Assembly with rumours he managed to get the Head of State's signature for the purpose.
This latest development followed former Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman's announcement yesterday that he had the numbers to form a new State Government aligned with the Perikatan Nasional-led Federal Government with a simple majority.

State elected representatives loyal to Shafie were also present at today's meeting including Sabah PKR Chief Datuk Christina Liew and Sabah DAP Chief Datuk Frankie Poon.
Upko President Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau is expected to arrive in Kota Kinabalu in the afternoon.
