Top commander inspects Op Pasir Selatan

TAWAU: Joint Forces Commander Lieutenant General Gatuk Yazid Arshad (Royal Malaysian Air Force-RMAF) paid a three-day working visit to Op Pasir Selatan Responsibility Area from July 24 to assess the capabilities and readiness of the Op Pasir operations.It included a visit to Joint Task Force 2 (ATB2) Headquarters, Op Benteng Joint Patrol Sector and Op Pasir Selatan that included the placement of Tinagat Coastal Surveillance Stations, Tun Sharifah Rodziah Marine Base, Pulau Mataking and Pulau Manampilik.

While expressing satisfaction with the visit, he stressed that the operation and administration should be efficient, effective and safe.
Accompanying him were Assistant Chief of Staff Defence Planning RMAF Major General Datuk Noor Mohamad Akmar Mohd Dom, Assistant Chief of Staff J3 AB Headquarters, Major General Datuk Sanusi Samion (RMAF) and ATB2 Commander, Brigadier General Johari Mohd Jaafar, among others.
