Kota Kinabalu: Elected representatives from Sabah's ruling coalition who had claimed to have been courted with money and posts to switch political allegiance declined to lodge reports, said an anti-graft official.

Sabah Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Director Karunanithy Y. Subbiah said the representatives, who the agency had met, refused to do so saying "there had been no graft transactions at the time."

"Nevertheless, Sabah MACC will continue its investigation and is ready to receive reports and information from anybody concerned," said Karunanithy in a statement on Friday.
