Shafie feels TYT has last say on assembly dissolution

Kota Kinabalu: Caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal is of the opinion that once the Head of State (TYT) uses his absolute power to dissolve the State Legislative Assembly (DUN), it is impossible for even the courts to decide otherwise. 

Mohd Shafie, who is Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) President, said this when asked about the application for Judicial Review submitted by a lawyer and two businesswomen against the declaration by the Head of State to dissolve the Assembly and for State elections to be held within 60 days. 

 “But I don’t want to pre-empt, let the legal process be done.
