Kuala Lumpur: All foreigners in Sabah without valid documents have been warned to return to their countries of origin immediately or face arrest in a major crackdown that will soon be underway.

“The Government is committed to resolve the problem of undocumented foreigners in Sabah,” Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin (pic) said when winding up the debate on the motion thanks for the royal address of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in the Dewan Rakyat.

Hamzah said the issue of the influx of illegal immigrants in the State had worsened and that there is still the issuance of documents without authorisation from any official agency.
