Kota Kinabalu: A total of 44 athletes from the State Sukma squad who have already qualified for the biennial games are set to go through the phase three specific test which started at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) on Tuesday.
Fourteen athletes with the company of five coaches attended the opening session monitored by UMS Associate Professor Dr. Dayang Maryama Bte Ag. Daud, who heads UMS Sports Science Programme and MSN (Sabah Sports Council) assistant director for sports development Valerie Wong.

The five-day programme to last until August 7 will also to be staged at the Kota Kinabalu Sports Complex.
