TAWAU: Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Central Youth Movement assistant chief publicity officer Lim Ting Khai criticised the Public Works Department’s (PWD) decision for not covering up the drain in front of the industrial premises at Jalan Kuhara, which caused great inconvenience to heavy vehicles entering or exiting the area.
Lim inspected the site after receiving complaints from 21 affected business operators.

He said the operators were not against the upgrading works on the drains but that they requested the drains be covered for the sake of heavy vehicles.
However, their request was turned down by the PWD.
