Kota Kinabalu: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) is ready to compromise on the number of seats it will contest in the imminent State snap poll to ensure a landslide victory for Perikatan Nasional (PN) and its coalition partners so as to form the next State Government.

Bersatu Sec-Gen Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin (pic) said the intention (to contest 45 state seats) is always there but once they compromise with other parties within the coalition, the number would be reduced.

Bersatu also prefers straight fights as a one-to-one fight is always better to prevent vote-splitting, he said, after chairing the Sabah Bersatu State Leadership meeting at Magellan Sutera, Saturday.
