Woman with stab wounds found dead by Papar roadside

PAPAR: Police here are investigating the case of a woman in her 20s who was found dead with stab wounds by the roadside along KM30 Jalan Papar-Beaufort, near Bongawan, Tuesday. District Police Chief DSP Batholomew Ak Umpit (pic) said police were notified of the incident by a lorry driver who was passing by the scene.“The unknown woman had a bloody nose and injuries to her body. It was also found that she had been stabbed through her left back ribs,” he said. The victim wore a blue sweater and black jeans.
The deceased found along Jalan Papar-Beaufort on Tuesday morning.
