Nine villages in Kinabatangan forest reserve gazetted

KINABATANGAN: The State Government gazetted nine traditional settlements in the forest reserve area here as a village last year. Caretaker Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the process to gazette these settlements in Segama and Trusan Kinabatangan were done since last year.
“These areas are inhabited by natives for decades or since over 30 years ago. We are doing this since last year in line with our aspiration to fulfil the wishes of people in the State.
