Tourists flock to Ranau after MCO curbs eased

RANAU: Since the loosening of the Movement Control Order (MCO) recently, tourism activities in the district have been increasing, giving relief to tourism operators here.Deputy President of the Malaysia Kampungstay and Homestay Association, Kohadie Koch Watiman (pic) said observation revealed that the arrival of tourists to Kundasang began on July 26, 2020.
“On this date, I saw a number of the lodgings around the district beginning to receive guests. Some, mainly the homestays registered under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (Motac), even were fully booked.
