PUTATAN: The public have been advised not to disturb or provoke the elephants if they came across them such as on the road.

Sabah Wildlife Director Augustine Tuuga said the people should lend their help in protecting the gentle giants.

“If the public face any problems relating to elephants, please contact the nearest State Wildlife Department office and we are ready to help,” he said, during the State-level World Elephant Day launching at the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park on Wednesday.
