LAHAD DATU: The swift action of teachers from Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bangingod here managed to save a dolphin that was found stranded in shallow waters near the school.
Lahad Datu Wildlife Department (JHL) officer Silvester Saimin said the dolphin was believed to be of the ‘Common Bottlenose Dolphin’ species and found at about 9.30am on Monday.

Silvester said JHL staff had rushed to the location after seeing pictures of the dolphin circulating on social media.
