DAP faces grilling over Skybridge
The 95 per cent completed Skybridge.
Kota Kinabalu: Former KK MP and Luyang assemblyman Datuk Dr Hiew King Cheu wants the expected crowded field contesting the Api-Api in the Sept. 26 elections to suggest how they plan to resolve the cordoned off  and  still unused Skybridge.”

The Skybridge was nearly completed under a previous mayor’s tenure, who, Hiew also blamed for the delay in the construction of the Foh Sang multi-storey carpark despite the previous Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman approving it.

As the Skybridge contractor failed to get the contract payment of nearly RM20million project sum that was to be claimed by the now insolvent developer of the Oceanus Mall with DBKK as the landowner then, the contractor condoned off the 95 per cent completed Skybridge for the past three years.
