RANAU: The younger generation have a responsibility and need to play their important role in defending the sovereignty and peace of the country so that the people today as well as the future continue to enjoy the benefits of independence.Deputy Home Minister II Jonathan Yasin said, the younger generation defends the peace, harmony and sovereignty of the country from being harassed by foreign powers, including from the neighbouring countries.
“The people today are so fortunate, therefore they should be grateful and remember the services and sacrifices of the previous leaders who have tried to fight for the country’s independence from foreign powers (colonial).
