Kota Kinabalu: School sessions at six primary schools (SK) in three districts had to be postponed due to incessant rain that hit most districts since Monday night.

Sabah State Education Department director Dr Mistirine Radin said they included SK Pintas in Beaufort which housed 174 students and 16 teachers.

“The school, which also has eight pre-school students, was closed around noon. Landslide which brought down the road linking to SK Babagon Toki caused the school to be temporarily closed and affected 102 students including 17 preschool students and 14 teachers,” she said.
