SEPANGGAR: Ten fishing boats were detained out of the 1,174 inspections carried out by Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) in the East Coast Op Benteng since May.

Datuk Pahlawan Syed Zahrul Putra Syed Abdullah, the TLDM Eastern Fleet Commander Vice Admiral cum Commander of the Maritime Components (MCC), fully supports the statement made by the Chief of Defence Force, General Tan Sri Affendi Buang who asserted that there will be no compromise on illegal immigrants (PATI) entering the country’s waters, especially in Sabah and Sarawak.
