RANAU: The District Council (MDR) has decided to block all fish and vegetable suppliers from high-risked areas from entering the district for the time being.

In a circulated notice signed by MDR Executive Officer, Jaiping Minsu, it was stated that fish and vegetable suppliers from Tawau, Semporna, Kunak, Kudat, Pitas, Sipitang, Beaufort and Tongod are not allowed to do business here temporarily.

The notice stated that the purpose of the temporary ban is to prevent the spread of Covid-19 disease in the area, and those mentioned could be allowed to enter Ranau and Kundasang township until the situation improved.
