Conditional MCO on KK, Penampang, Putatan from Oct 7

Kota Kinabalu: The Federal Government has decided to impose the Conditional Movement Control Order on Kota Kinabalu, Penampang and Putatan from Oct 7 to curb Covid-19.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaacob, in a statement on Monday, said entry and exit into and from these three districts will be banned except for essential services.

Only two people from a household will be allowed to go out to get provisions, non-essential services will be closed, dining-in in eateries banned, taxi/e-hailing services limited to two passengers, express and transit buses’ operations banned and working residents banned from exiting the three areas and from working with employers having to let workers go on leave or work from home.
Those who want to work in essential services must obtain a permit from the police while all places of worship, educational institutions, daycare centres, sport and social activities are also not allowed.
Ismail Sabri did not give an end date to the latest iteration of lockdown which included other measures to curb the pandemic's second wave in Sabah.
