Six held for violating Temco in LD

LAHAD DATU: Five men and a woman were held for violating the Targeted Enhanced Movement Control Order (Temco), here. District Police Chief, ACP Nasri Mansor said the individuals aged between 19 and 43 comprise two locals, two Indonesians and two Filipinos.

Nasri said 24 others had been issued compound fines for committing similar offence, which have been recorded since the implementation of the Temco on Sept 29 to Oct 8.
He said the offenders comprise traders, farmers, labourers, dispatch, counter keeper, unemployed person and housewives.
Among the offences are travelling in a vehicle with more than two person, gathering in a place without practicing physical distancing, doing business in an unauthorised place, selling smuggled cigarette, inter-district travel without police permission and going out in the middle of the night without reasonable excuse.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

On that note, he advised the public, especially in Lahad Datu to adhere to the Standard Operating Procedure issued by the authorities during Temco.
