KENINGAU: Former District Chief, OKK Mohd Amir Datuk Arif is glad the 2021 budget allocation of RM5.1 billion for Sabah will help farmers including rubber planters severely affected by the fall in rubber prices amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We are also grateful that the Government is concerned with Native Customary rights in Sabah and Sarawak by providing allocations,” said Amir.

A local businessman, Alizan Majid agreed with the action to create a mobile bank in Sabah, especially in the rural areas, taking into account the burden of the people to bear the high cost of travel to the town.
