He said the remaining cases were detected in new and existing clusters (59 cases), while 52 cases were detected in symptomatic screenings, 16 cases in community screenings and 23 cases in other screenings.

Two deaths were recorded in Sandakan involving two men aged 64 and 79 with underlying health conditions.
