Kota Kinabalu: Some business premises are still taking lightly the standard operating procedures issued to combat the Covid-19 pandemic. The latest involved 12 people including a business premises caretaker in Damai Plaza, Luyang, who allowed customers to dine-in with no heed to social distancing.

“Our team on Ops Covid-19 duty carried out inspections on the premises at about 11pm,” said City Police Chief ACP Habibi Majinji, in a statement.
He said all 12 were compounded after being found disobeying the instruction issued during the Conditional Movement Control Order and committed an offence under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Regulation.
