CITY HALL is trying to ensure that there is no breakdown in its drain-clearing and grass-cutting services during the Movement Control Order (MCO) but rate-payers might find that it takes a little longer for this to be done.
Such maintenance efforts are carried out by the agency’s staff on a quarterly basis.

A spokesman for City Hall’s Landscaping Department said MCO-related adjustments in the manner this work was done might impact the agency’s ability to keep up with this schedule.
“Our workers are still on the ground pruning trees, cleaning drains and trimming the grass around the State Capital,” he said.
