Kota Kinabalu: The recent implementation of the second Movement Control Order (MCO) here in Sabah has affected Sabah Karate Association (SKA) training programme for the new year which has only just begun.
Its secretary general Julian Chin
(pic) said on Monday that they fully supported the decision by the government but the measure has effectively put their programme at a standstill.

“It is rather unfortunate that we have to stop our training programme so early in the year. Our athletes had only just started their fitness training and now they have to stop again.
“We are of course very supportive of the government decision to carry out the second MCO in order to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the state, but it also put us in a very difficult position to prepare and motivate the athletes with the constant disruption,” he said.
