BEAUFORT: Fruit and fish mongers here are upset as there has yet to be a suitable place for them to sell their products.
A local fruit seller who wished to remain anonymous said Beaufort District Council (MDB) enforcement officers, recently, had warned him against selling fruits on the sidewalk.

“I had discussed about this problem with (former Lumadan assemblyman) Datuk Matbali Musah and I hope Klias assemblyman Datuk Isnin Aliasnih and Lumadan assemblyman Ruslan Muharam will intervene to resolve this matter,” he said.
The fruit seller said he was instructed to move back to the town-field which is the temporary designated area provided for them by the MDB.
