(pic), said he will ensure that the road damage at Km127.5 Jalan Paitan-Kinabungan which suffered severe damage due to landslides on Tuesday will be repaired immediately.
James, who is also Sugut Assemblyman, said he had already instructed the Beluran District Public Works Department (JKR) and Globinaco Sdn Bhd Concession Company which is responsible for maintaining the road to take immediate action to minimise damage before full restoration work is carried out.

“The damage was quite serious and certainly dangerous. I have instructed the JKR and the concessionaire to immediately take the appropriate action,” he said.
As a first step, he had set up his own excavator to build an alternative route to connect the Sapi Nangoh area to Pitas in Kota Marudu.
