Kota Kinabalu: Seorang lelaki berumur 53 tahun didenda RM5,000 atau penjara enam bulan kerana memandu secara melulu dan tidak bertimbang rasa sehingga menyebabkan kemalangan.

Majistret Jessica Ombou Kakayun menjatuhkan hukuman itu kepada Mohd Sali Ali yang mengaku bersalah kepada tuduhan terhadapnya.
Dia didapati memandu seperti itu pada pukul 6.30 pagi 13 Januari 2019 di sepanjang Jalan Tuaran Bypass / KM 10, di sini.
Kesalahan di bawah Seksyen 43(1) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987 (Pindaan 1999) itu membawa hukuman denda antara RM4,000 dan RM10,000, serta boleh dipenjara sehingga 12 bulan, jika sabit kesalahan.
