Under-19 squad keepers make President Cup line-up

Kota Kinabalu: Junior goalkeepers Mohd Azrin Pitting and Mohd Azlizan Mohd Azlan from last season’s state under-19 squad have booked their place in the President Cup line-up this season.Goalkeeper coach Jasrin Jabirin @Jerry who confirmed this on Thursday said they deserved to be in the team with their convincing display for the Youth Cup team last year despite the competition being cancelled early due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Both Azrin from Beaufort and Azlizan from Keningau have shown great improvement since I took them under my wing as coach for the under-19 team last year.
“They also performed really well when they were given the opportunity to play for the team, so there is no reason I should leave them behind since I am now coaching the President Cup squad.
