Kota Kinabalu: Internet access continues to be a problem in Sabah, including in Ranau, despite the constituency having two full ministers, one assistant minister and one deputy federal minister.

Political observer, Dr Chong Eng Leong (pic) expressed concern and hopes a permanent solution is made to address the issue.

“Who is actually responsible for ensuring good Internet access, is it the responsibility of telecommunication companies like Celcom, DiGi or Maxis? Or is the responsibility of the State Government or the Federal Government?

“People pay for the services and expect to get proper access to the facility which has now become a necessity,” he said.
