80 Sandakan fishing boat operators cease operations due to lack of subsidised diesel
SANDAKAN: Some 80 fishing boat operators in the district had to temporarily cease operations due to the absence of subsidised diesel over the past four days, according to Elopura Assemblyman Calvin Chong.

He claimed that the fishermen could not operate because the Sabah Fisheries and Fishermen’s Development Cooperative (Ko-Nelayan) did not receive diesel subsidy provided by the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP).
