Seized – imported snacks with uncertified Halal markings

Kota Kinabalu: The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) confiscated from a premises imported snack products worth RM40,946.50 with halal markings that are not certified by the Islamic Development Department (Jakim).The premises, which is a snack storage located at Kota Kinabalu International Park (KKIP), was raided at 11am on Wednesday along with the Sabah Islamic Affairs Department (Jheains) and City Hall (DBKK).
