TAWAU: An attempt by 22 Indonesian illegal immigrants (Pati) to enter the country failed when they were caught hiding in the coastal area off Jalan Tawau Lama, recently.

Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) Commander, DCP Datuk Ahmad Fuad Othman, said all the suspects were believed to have just arrived by speedboat when they were apprehended at 5.15pm.
