Kota Kinabalu: The aspiring Kinabalu Unesco Global Geopark can be enhanced in value by adding the Tawau Hills Park as its satellite geopark site.
This was advocated by Dr Kanehiro Kitayama
(pic) of Kyoto University who delivered a virtual presentation on the “Altitude-geology interaction in the forest ecosystem of Mount Kinabalu” at the ‘International Seminar on Aspiring Kinabalu Unesco Global Geopark’ by webinar on March 25 held at the Sabah International Convention Centre last Thursday.
