DBKK resumes coupon parking system

Kota Kinabalu: City Hall (DBKK) will resume its parking coupon system today (Tuesday), said Mayor Noorliza Awang Alip (pic).She said the public who have purchased monthly parking coupons for June 2021 are allowed to display the coupons throughout July 2021 without any charges imposed.ADVERTISEMENT
“They can also purchase parking coupons and start checking as well as making payments for compounds at all DBKK counters and kiosks which operate throughout the city.
“For further enquiries, the public can contact the parking management division at 088-270181, 088-270182 or via the WhatsApp hotline at 010-56208856.
“The public can also visit our office directly at KK Plaza,” she said.
Noorliza advised the public to practise physical distancing, wear face mask, use hand sanitiser, check body temperature and scan the QR code with the MySejahtera app while going about their business with the City Hall.ADVERTISEMENT
“Those who fail to comply can be prosecuted under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342),” she said.
Meanwhile, the public are allowed to conduct recreational activities at two public parks from today (Tuesday).

Noorliza said the two parks to be reopened are Taman Ujana Rimba Tropika and Taman Tun Fuad Stephens from 6am until 6pm with a maximum capacity of 50 people. Visitors are allowed to spend up to two hours there.
“Visitors will be given a number (upon entry) and they will have to return it at the exit.
“Activities allowed include jogging with two-metre physical distancing. For tai chi, yoga and aerobic exercises, there should not be more than 10 people at a time,” she said in a notice.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Noorliza added that other standard operating procedures include visitors having to screen their temperature and check in with the MySejahtera App.
