Kota Kinabalu: Saturday (July 24) was celebrated as “Ivermectin Day”, by those who believe the anti-parasitic drug, can prevent contracting serious Covid-19 complications, despite the World Health Organisation having recommended it for clinical trial only.Leading the online celebration of “Ivermectin Day” was tycoon Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew (pic) who was conferred four ‘Datukships’ by various state governments, insisting that Ivermectin is effective in preventing Covid-19, and showing that he is taking it for the purpose.
