SANDAKAN: The constituency of Sungai Manila gets a second Chinese Community Leader (Kapitan).Liew En Fook received his appointment letter from Ketua Anak Negeri, Awang Hanib at the Sandakan Native Court on Monday.

Liew, 51, thanked Sungai Manila Assemblyman Mokran Ingkat, PPM Abdullah Isgau, Sandakan Municipal Council Deputy President Faridah Giau and Elopura Kapitan James Leong.

Apart from his duties as a kapitan, Liew said he will be working closely with Kapitan Chia Vui Ngo in assisting Mokran and UPPM Sungai Manila to reach out to the Chinese community in the constituency and disseminate accurate information on government programmes to the people.
