SANDAKAN: A 16-year-old Filipino engrossed in loading tangar tree bark from a mangrove species into a boat at a forest reserve in Kinabatangan, not realising a drone was capturing his activity, was caught by the authorities last month.
Sabah Chief Conservator of Forests, Frederick Kugan, said there were a few others involved, but the teenager from Taganak, Philippines was the only one arrested, while the rest managed to flee and were being tracked down by the General Operations Force (GOF).
