Tawau folks urged to go for vaccination
TAWAU: District Health Officer Dr G. Navindran urged residents here who have not received Covid-19 vaccine to go to one of six vaccination centres (PPV) in Tawau and Kalabakan to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

The six PPVs are the Tawau Community Hall, Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Tawau Balung Hall, SK Merotai Hall, Semai Bakti Hall in Felda Umas, SK Kalabakan Hall, as well as the Kg Jawa Basketball Hall.

Dr Navindran said all these PPVs are under the management of the Tawau Health Department. “All people (aged 18 and above), whether Malaysians or non-Malaysians with or without documentation, are welcome to walk-in without an appointment at any of the PPVs for vaccination. The PPVs operate from 8am until 4pm.

He also urged those coming for the vaccination to comply with the stated SOPs such as putting on face mask, applying hand sanitiser and keeping a distance while at the PPV compound.
