Confrontation-era veterans deserve State recognition

Fifty-eight years ago, today, in 16.9.1963 was Malaysia Day. This was the day when Sabah and Sarawak joined Malaya and Singapore to form Malaysia.

This is part of History. However, the formation of Malaysia didn’t go without a glitch: it was not smooth sailing.

As it was, there were a lot of protests and vigorous objections and I was there to witness it.
