Kota Kinabalu: Teenagers aged 12 to 17 flocked to “walk in” vaccination centres statewide, Saturday, to take advantage of the State Cabinet decision to allow them to do so than wait for Health Minister Datuk Khairy Jamaluddin’s suggestion of 80 per cent adults in the State being vaccinated first.
The State Government under Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor felt it could not afford to delay immunising the young since the Education Ministry announced that schools would reopen in October.
