Kota Kinabalu: Even the dead are not spared from natural disasters as 30 to 40 graves about a century old at the Tionghua Cemetery at Mile 5.5 Jalan Tuaran were displaced in a landslide on Tuesday. A spokesperson from the Kota Kinabalu Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKCCCI) said it was due to the incessant rain.

“The graves on a slope with a height of about 100 meters were affected and this is not the first time it has happened. On July 27, some 10 graves were affected in a landslide that occurred on the opposite side. Although it has happened many times, this was the worst,” he said.
