Kota Kinabalu: Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri James Masing has been admitted to the Sarawak General Hospital with Covid-19, according to a news report.

He is in stable condition with mild symptoms of Covid-19, his office reportedly said.

“James Masing is indeed positive for Covid-19 and is currently being hospitalised at SGH. Mild symptom and his condition is stable,” it said.

There was speculation earlier today that Masing, who reportedly had completed his vaccination, had been admitted to the intensive care unit after testing positive for the novel coronavirus.
