Police seek family of woman believed mentally unstable found roaming in Papar

PAPAR: Police are seeking the public’s help in locating family members of a 39-year-old woman believed to be mentally disabled who was found roaming near Kampung Dambai, here, on Friday.
Following viral posts on social media, District Police Chief DSP Batholomew Umpit said the woman was picked up by authorities and brought to the hospital for medical treatment.

“There were no physical injuries detected but police brought her to the hospital for medical examination.
“At the same time, no documents were found on her,” he said.
He urged those with information to contact Papar police headquarters at 099 – 912222 and 088 – 916064, or come forward to the police station.
