Girl found drowned in S’kan
The body of 14-year-old girl found drowned at Kampung Semawang.
SANDAKAN: A 14-year-old girl was found drowned after the boat she was in turned turtle at Semawang, Mile 19, Thursday.

Sandakan Fire and Rescue Department had rushed to scene led by PBK II Bernadius Jacob after receiving a distress call at 8.50pm. It was learnt that the victim and three others were thrown into the sea after their boat turned over while travelling to Semawang Darat around 6pm. Three other victims were saved by nearby villagers but the girl was missing.

The victim was found on Friday at 12.18pm around 400 meters from where the boat capsized.
