SANDAKAN: Operators of business premises here are urged to monitor and check the authenticity of the MySejahtera identification shown by the public before they are allowed to enter their premises.Sandakan Area Health Officer Dr Johari Awang Besar made this call following reports of fake Mysejahtera identifications shown by irresponsible individuals to enter premises.

“I was informed of several unvaccinated individuals possessing the Mysejahtera ID of someone else to enter business premises, government buildings and even for inter-state travel.
“This is a serious matter which can jeopardise the life of others by carrying the Covid-19 virus to every location they go,” he said.
Dr Johari advised the operators to check the MySejahtera ID of suspicious individuals against their MyKads or identification documents to ensure their authenticity.
He also said the Mobile Vaccination Centre Truck was at the Masjid Jannatulnaim Sri Taman on Friday.

He said it catered to those still unvaccinated, incomplete dosage and those in need of the booster Covid-19 shot regardless of citizenship status.
He also advised Sandakan residents to continue adhering to the set standard operating procedures (SOPs) in their daily life.
