Kota Kinabalu: The International Nafas Symposium Webinar (Insyaaf) which aims to provide emotional and psychological support to those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic will be held on Dec 12.

Coach Consultant Counsellor Motivator Trainer (CCCMT) Mohd Nor Majnun said the programme is providing free entries to 1,500 participants, especially frontline workers, doctors, civil servants, private employees, Covid-19 survivors and those recovering from Covid-19. “This webinar is a platform to provide support in the emotional and psychological aspects affected in terms of health, physical and economic to all Malaysians affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The programme is also offered free of charge to the public but they can make contributions such as donating to orphans and towards Madrasah development.

“The main content of the Insyaaf programme is the importance of breath (breathing techniques) and its role in the protection of oneself and family as well as the environment against the threat of Covid-19.

“Insyaaf is organised by Total Life EMQR Motivation Academy (Talema) together with Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ihsan Wanita Islam Sabah branch (Perkiwisa), Akademi Motivasi 5K and NEO Wellness Centre,” he said. Meanwhile, CCCMT Medical Doctor Dr Jamilah Mohammad explained that through the programme, CCMT will share theories and practices on breathing techniques as well as its positive effects. She added that the webinar will also help the community to move past fear and trauma related to Covid-19 so they may be prepared to live a more positive life amid the pandemic.
