KOTA KINABALU: A sinkhole appeared on the road heading towards SM Lok Yuk, Likas, here.

Photos and videos of the sinkhole were shared by political leaders and netizens on social media, Sunday.

State Public Works Director Datuk Ali Ahmad Hamid, when contacted, said they had installed a temporary notice near the site to warn road users of the sinkhole.

“We have also informed the City Hall and Sabah Sewerage Services Department about the matter,” he said.
