KUALA LUMPUR: Police have detained a man believed to have snatched the handbag of a woman from her vehicle after an accident involving his car on the Federal Highway, Saturday, FMT reported.
The suspect, aged 56, was arrested to facilitate investigations when he turned up to lodge an accident report at the district police headquarters, in Shah Alam, at 6.30pm, Saturday.

A video showing a man opening a car door and taking a woman’s handbag went viral on social media since Saturday.
It was believed that this happened after she refused to show him her identity card.
He refused to return the handbag despite her pleas, asking her to follow him to the police station.
