Kota Kinabalu: Another secret plot to invade Sabah with Sulu militia was hatched in the southern Philippines according to a report citing a security source.
A secret meeting to discuss the plans is believed to have been held by a senior local southern Philippine government official, a senior regional security source told the South China Morning Post.

The locally-elected Sulu official gathered 19 mayors in the Sulu archipelago in the Dec 1 meeting to set up a “Royal Sulu Army” with a target of recruiting up to 600 men to invade Sabah, echoing the 2013 Lahad Datu incursion.
The plan was also to recruit spies to scope out coastal towns, though no infiltration has taken place yet, said the report.
